I’ve never been to Washington D.C.
Mark loves history and neither of us have been to our Countries Capital. Last summer we took a quick trip to downtown Washington D.C. and saw as much as we possibly could in 48 hours. The Lumineers also just “happened” to be there opening for U2, so I figured it was a win-win-win!

When I travel, I take a ton of photos. New things to see, new food, new culture, new energy. Traveling excites me, so naturally, I snap hundreds of photos.
I mean, how many times are we going to be on the front row of a U2 show screaming “Sunday Bloody Sunday” at the top of our lungs while looking in Bono’s eyes? Probably never again.
We meet cool people along the way, like Lillian here who is a super, smart strong woman living in D.C.
Mr. Trump must really love quotes because when you stay at a Trump Hotel, there are quotes on everything, even our room keys. I kept them:)
Since we were only in DC for the weekend, I collected brochures for next time and slip them right in my album.
Mark is a well known CPA in Utah. He had a few things to say to the IRS:)
Do you seem to eat your way through cities? Me too! The more I travel, the larger the love handles, but it’s worth it! You bet I’m taking photos of the marvelous food, I want to taste it again and again!
Sometimes I’m too cheap to buy the postcard, so I just take a photo of it myself:) Plus, this is the size I need for my album ♥.
I rarely lug around my dSLR when traveling, these photos were snapped on my iPhone. Want to improve your mobile photo taking skillz?
