Why photographic 3×3s come four to a sheet
Silver halide prints are made the classic way, developed in real photo chemistry. A single 3×3 is simply too tiny to travel through the darkroom machines on its own, so four of your favorites are printed together on one 6×6 sheet. A few snips later, you have four true photographic prints that are archival and ready for any album.

Which 3×3 should I choose?
For thick, ready-to-use matte squares with your choice of border, go with Mini Press Prints. For true photographic prints that are archival in albums and scrapbooks, choose the 6×6 collage and trim it into four.
Why can't I order a single photographic 3×3?
A 3×3 is too small to run through the darkroom printers by itself, so photographic 3×3s are printed four to a 6×6 sheet. It also makes them a great value, about 50¢ each.
Do I have to cut the photographic prints myself?
Yes. The 6×6 sheet arrives whole so you can trim it into four 3×3s. A paper trimmer gives the cleanest edges. Mini Press Prints arrive already trimmed.
Can I use the same photo more than once?
Of course. Put one photo in all four spots of the 6×6 collage, or order as many copies of a Mini Press Print as you need.
What's the difference between a single Mini Press Print and the Set of 12?
